Women in menswear: a rather literal take

I decided last night it was only fitting I approach a menswear #look with utmost sincerity. And by that I mean dressing myself entirely out of Austin’s closet.

Single ladies, ask yourselves: do I want a super tall man or do I want to double my wardrobe?

 chinos – asos / crew sweatshirt – uniqlo / wool button-down – urban outfitters/CPO (similar) / denim jacket – levis, thrifted / shoes – converse / hat –  urban outfitters

Austin is 5’8, 2 inches taller than me, and about 25 pounds heavier. Little did I know, his proportions are not only conducive to a superior personality, but they are my perfect match for clothes-sharing. His stuff is satisfyingly baggy on me without looking like a costume.

I can’t believe it took me this long to realize I could dress myself entirely in his clothes.

I wish I could convey to you how pleased he is with this discovery.

Bb luv: you’re free to borrow my clothes any time

The shoes are my own, but he has the same exact ones in a larger size so they seemed like the only fair option.

I’d consider going out and buying a pair of these tapered chinos for myself if Austin didn’t already have them in 5 colors.

Comfy

Comfy

Did I look exactly like all the guys in my office in this getup? Yes, yes I did. Did this please me? What do you think?!

Ladieeeeeeeees, want to date me? I’d consider a side chick.

  1. I adore this! I had a similar epiphany in my boyfriends closet a few months ago and it’s as if I have an entirely new wardrobe!

Love your blog & style btw!
